Credit card thing
When I go to the "order" bit in the CeWe software for the free booklet, it still asks me to enter my credit card details after I have entered the coupon number, is this right? If it's free why should it ask that?
Thanks, Jack M |

Re: Credit card thing for Photo Booklet Offer
I wondered that too, but I think that although the booklet is free, you might still need to pay for P&P (£3.80??).
I just tried to sort out my Holiday snaps, my booklet had 50 pages so wasn't expecting it to be free, just £5.99 cheaper. The price never updated when I entered the code, so I continued with the order to see how much it would be (using switch rather than credit card) but right at the end I got an error message saying incorrect format and the order was rejected/cancelled (I think) - Unable to tell whether it was an image that wasn't right or some of the information I had to complete for the order process. Has anyone else had any problems with this??? |

Re: Credit card thing
The booklet is free & the P&P has been reduced to £1.70, therefore it would still need card details. (see 2nd line down in announcement here :- FREE Photo Booklet worth £5.99 to mark launch of Pixalo Print Service)
I'll check out your scenario ytsorf6 & get back to you Note, one of the beauties of the PhotoBook software is you can save your projects as you go along, so no need to start again if you hit a point you want to query something. |

Re: Credit card thing
ytsorf6, the offer is only against the 26 page booklet, so unfortunately it cannot be used in conjuction with other books or extra pages.

Re: Credit card thing
Dave,
thanks for the updates - Definitely want one of these and was going to use the offer as a tester before I go for the hardback. Now I know, I can trim the project to fit the 26 pages (which is probably a good thing anyway, most of the snaps were pretty crap).... I think the software's great, easy to use etc. can see s theme developing (excuse the pun) for xmas pressies here. Thanks again for the update on both this and the security, I'll be ordering tomorrow.... |
