D2X firmware upgrade

Just wondered if anyone had done the D2x upgrade. I have & am very frustrated as now my hi-speed crop button doesnt work, instead I have to switch it on via the menu. Very very inconvenient when you need a hurried decision whilst shooting, to use it. Is this normal of do I have an error. if its normal, how do I get my old firmware reinstalled???

Re: D2X firmware upgrade

The new firmware resets some of your custom settings on the D2X. If you want the HSC to work in the old way by pressing the function button and turning the rear command dial then you need to go into the menu options for custom settings (The pencil icon).

Select " f Controls " go to " f5 FUNC. + command " and select " High-speed crop"

Hope this helps,

Matt

Thanks for jumping in there with the info Matt, as a Canon user I was unable to help farlap out.
