Re: dedacated IR camera
It would be nice. My non-dedicated Camera with an R72 IR Filter require 30 Secs exposure at f8.

Re: dedacated IR camera
Sorry Dave,
just looking and thinking about my habits, When reading, convertions come with mainly three,,B&W, Standard IR {R72}, and more color,,I guess in the area of R66.5. |

Re: dedacated IR camera
Ah, I see
Well although being a Mono lad I thought I would prefer the B&W, from the examples I have seen it seems to lose a little detail vs STandard IR. On that basis I will be going with std version & then in Photoshop tweak to Mono to get best results. |

Re: dedacated IR camera
I have considered getting one, I have worked {USA} overtime hours, it's like none stop and have reached a goal where I might perchase one. The right filter is a concern. My thinking is that in my area around me I have very hot weather and very cold weather and there are times that I just get tired of 85% green around me with a load of poison Ivy and or brown for it seems half the year, it would open up another form of photography. I think I am ready to cross the line but needed to check in here to find out what was everyone's thought's on IR filters and the color detail conversion to black and white and or haveing more color, if the conversion is less impacting from a filter with more color?
