Re: Diffraction whatty?

I used f/22 on my 30D last week to get some motion blur in some waves on a rock. You can see, even without zooming to 100%, that the image isn't as sharp as it should be.

That said, if it's a choice between f/22 or not getting the shot, I'd happily use f/22. The diffraction effect isn't that bad, just noticeable. If the composition needs it, it probably outweighs the softness.
