Re: Editing Exif Data?
Not sure but can you connect the camera to computer via USB and use EOS Viewer Utility to change name etc?

Re: Editing Exif Data?
You can but only through the software that Canon issues with a camera. I think it's the EOS Utility disc. Load the software then connect your camera to your PC. There is a section in the menus where you can upload your name to the camera exif.

Re: Editing Exif Data?
As others have said you need to use the EOS Viewer Utility which can be found on one of the the CD's which comes with the Camera. If you select Options>Camera settings you can change the name to yours. If you are missing the CD, I believe that you can download the software from the Canon website; it is only of use the Canon Camera Owners. I use the EOS viewer utility to upload the pictures directly from the camera to the PC. You do need to have the Camera connected and switched on for all of this to happen. The camera should have come with a cable USB one end and the Canon Camera digital connector at the other end.
