Re: Exif image data
The data is embedded in any picture you take with a digital camera. All you have to do is make sure you don't remove it before you upload the image. Using 'Save for Web' in any Adobe product will strip all the embedded data out for example.

Re: Exif image data
What I do to keep the exif data when using photoshop is to resize the image so the longest side is 800 pixels and then use "save as" and chose jpg. The I adjust the quality setting to get the size under the 300 kb limit for this forum. I do not use save for web.

Re: Exif image data
Thanks all i will a go.
I like to check the exif data on some of the personal gallery's to see what setup people are using. also you can get a idea on some camera settings used. Cheers ! Eyesociety. |

Re: Exif image data
You can download an EXIF viewer that will reveal the data in any picture that has it embedded by right clicking.

Re: Exif image data
Is it OK to leave the EXIF data on entries to the monthly competition though? Maybe I'm taking it all a bit seriously, but does that possibly identify the camera user in some cases?
