Filter question?

Been doing a bit of homework on IR filters today & rather than buy a cheap nasty would i be right in saying there would only be a few that you would recommend & go for eg, Lee
Scheider
Tiffan
Sing - ray
Hitech, etc, would anyone have any comments on the Hitech filter which is meant to be very good reviews & also it fits the Cokin P Series holder to?

Re: Filter question?

Not tried the IR filters, but I use Hi-Tec ND's and grads and have no complaints. They were recommended by SRB-Gitram and are their 'own brand' filters.

Yes they do. If you go to their web site they have an on-line shop where you can see what they have. I've not seen the IR ones, but that is probably because I've not looked for them.

Re: Filter question?

Got an e -mail back from them saying they do not do it & unfortunately cant, so got p&p sorted out with the other company, because it was N.ireland it listed in saying that the p&p to there was 22.50 dear stretch of water for a filter, this isn't a screw in IR filter but the square 1, do you think it should be ok or is the screw in 1 the better 1 to use?

Re: Filter question?

For the price of it suppose there's no harm in trying it, if all fails then i.ll get the screw in.
