Re: finepix s5700 ?

As far as I know you should be able use either a lead from the camera or a card reader regardless of the operating system.

Re: finepix s5700 ?

It takes xD and SD so no problems loading to the PC. The camera is 5 years old and has appropriate specs for 2007 eg only goes to 1600 ISO. IMO Fujifilm have always made excellent bridge cameras and I wouldn't pay more than a few quid for this model but it'll still do a job for you

Re: finepix s5700 ?

Windows 7 should hopefully auto recognise the camera - just plug in a usb lead from the camera to your PC.

If it is too old like my Canon 20D then you'd need to use a card reader or another camera that uses the same memory cards to get them to the PC.

Re: finepix s5700 ?

Hi
Thats good info as i have the fujifilm s6900 ,and i could combind with the two and get pictures onto my computer ,i have seen pictures of bristlenose fish from a lady in Australia in bristlenose world sight, done with fujifilm s5700 and they was fantastic so i was thinking of getting one but needed to do the reserch first, im only a novice. I want to take photos of fish, flowers, and close ups (macro)and wondering if the s5700 would be eaiser to use.

Re: finepix s5700 ?

If you are thinking of changing your camera I'd look at either a new one or a newer one than the s5700. They were fine cameras in their day, but have been left behind with new technology.
