Flowers with a gentic defect

to the right where the flowers is normal the long flat bit is not

Paterson's curse is considered a great resource for apiarists but is toxic to most grazing animals and is Australia's worst broadleaf temperate pasture weed.

Now this image was taken right in the middle of the last big drought we had it was 7 years and very little rain and my wife saw this on the side of the road

The Image has been sent to several specialists in the field and they say because of lack of water and heat there has been a genetic defect

We have been told it is extremely rare to be able to find this and a excellent find

Re: Flowers with a gentic defect

Very interesting. Maybe the plant is adapting to the conditions, but that would make it super fast evolution.
