Focus width.

Was going through my camera today adjusting a few settings now that winters almost gone & came across the setting of focus width 6,8,10, or 12mm, i had mine set to 10mm & then wondered what the rest of yous guys had yours set at ?

Seriously (folks), do you actually use centre-weighted metering much or at all? Evaluative is generally better for most subjects, and I sometimes wonder if centre-weighted is just there to expand the features list.

If you have to shoot a specific subject that will benefit from a smaller or larger centre weighted area for a long time (or frequently) it would be worth changing it.

I've never needed to.

I find centre weighted metering useful and use it quite often.
