Hey guys, just working on my third gallery that I sort of cheated on, using 'simple viewer', a neat flash gallery producing thing, but only a couple of the images show up, although I have uploaded them all. Any ideas????

in your images folder: -
Index of /~jmitchell/flash_gallery/images

you have, for example, a file called: -
P1010008.JPG

but in the XML ( http://www.bandstand.org.uk/~jmitche...ry/gallery.xml ) you refer to : -
<filename>P1010008.jpg</filename>

the cAsE of filenames MUST be identical on a linux web server. in this case u have jpg instead of JPG

so go through your gallery.xml file and make sure the filename case matches.


EDIT: Also, take a look at installing SimpleViewerAdmin (assuming your webserver supports PHP - it should) .redSPLASH - Projects :: SimpleViewerAdmin it makes managing your gallery MUCH easier.
