Great Photography

just sad about the car!

this was linked to in another forum i frequent, although im not a member of it.

taken with a Canon EOS-1D MkII judging by the Exif data

I thought i would pass it on to you guys.

Wow there's a couple of good photos there. Like you say, the flames have been captured brilliantly, you can almost feel the heat.

Gutted about the car though.

The thing that struck me is how quick (judging from the photos) the car went from a small fire to being totally gutted :icon_eek:

Great photos but you can't help feeling for the owner, I would be devastated.

Blimey, good pics but shame about the motor. Looks like they committed the cardinal sin of car fires though - opening doors enough to feed the flames rather than cracking them open enough to stick CO2 in.

posts below say possible oil leak onto hot exhaust, then petrol tank went up.

bear in mind this is a mid engined car, so engine exhaust and fuel tank all in close proximity.

RIP Renault Clio v6.
