When you say "copy" do you mean literally that or just bought outside the UK? Why not just buy in the UK then there would be no problem.

I imagine it's because it's half the price from USA for instance.

Amazon.com CS6 = $531 = 331

Amazon.co.uk CS6 = 604.14

Even when you add on V.A.T. that seems like a bit of a steep hike

Re: "Grey Photoshop"

When you try to download from the US Adobe site you get transferred to the UK one and the price goes up! When I tried this with Lightroom the exchange rate at the time gave a cost of about 99 ($199). From the UK site I paid 149!!

Different if you can source a US disc I guess, which is why the question has been asked.

Re: "Grey Photoshop"

If you want to download things from Amazon.com at US prices you simply need to register yourself at a US address when you open the account. Not that I would ever suggest such a thing of course but I may or may not have friends who apparently live at various US pizza outlets.

Re: "Grey Photoshop"

The best thing to do that I have been told is to download a trial first to see how you get on with it? If you don't like it you delete it and it hasn't cost you a penny. A friend tells me you can get codes off the internet for free too but I don't know what he means?

I have photoshop 6 on trial and it's great.
