...so if you took a picture through a dark archway at a very bright subject then your eyes would adjust so that the archway and the subject were well...erm...'exposed' correctly...i dunno......i got a bit confused, Has anyone heard of this or tried it themselves or could perhaps give us a quick tutorial? here is a link to a 'hdr photo' CLICK ME ![]() |

There are a fair few people on here who have used HDR (high dynamic range) Not sure if there is atutorial about it though, im sure somebody will be along to give you some pointers.

did someone not do a PDF on how to do it? I thought it was you... had a blue car in it...
it was posted just before the fracturous times and "the other plaice". EDIT: Nope it was Pete Carr. "Pete Carr's HDR Guide with OMG Corsa!!" filename was hdrguidewithomgcorsa.pdf can't find it here although I've got a copy of it. Don't think I should distro it as it's not my work tho ![]() EDIT 2: lol - Hacker found it ![]() |

I've recently been using Photomatix which i find quite flexible.The only thing i don't like is the automatic alignment.It never seems to get it quite right.But then i suppose if i used a tripod more often...........
