Re: hello community/need help

Hi Maly and welcome to Pixalo!

There are people on here far more experienced than me that will be able to help you but I have achieved similar shots with my running dogs by focusing on them but panning round so I am following them with the camera. this creates the blurred background whilst keeping the main subject in focus. Hope that helps a bit!

It has to be photoshop in my eyes, as I cannot see how you can blue round a corner like that Effect looks good though

Re: hello community/need help

hi Maly, i would agree with dave, photoshopped. ive tried these kinds of shots a good few times with rallycars but the background is way more blurred than any of the lines which doesnt add up to me, it does look well though, i wouldnt have the skill to do that on PS!!

Re: hello community/need help

at a guess it's a pic of the car moving joined with an image of the road that's been blurred in PS,.

reason I think that (and I could easily be wrong!) - a lot of the moving car shots are done with a jib attached to the car and camera mounted to jib, the car moving really slowly with a v slow shutter speed,. but on this if the car was moving the white lines either side of the road and towards the back would blur differently,. they are too sharp at the back and the blurring looks generally inconsistant
