How do you make the best of an arial shot?

Folks,

I sometimes get to take low altitude flights in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft and often get to see unusual views...... but how on earth do I make the most of them?

I appreciate this isn't a good image but it's the best I've managed to do so far but want to improve.......

Perhaps adding a couple of filters to your kit would help things... I'm thinking a Polarizing filter (to reduce reflections from the windows) and a UV filter (to cut through any haze).. but I'm sure other's would be able to better advise you.
