How to erase EXIF data from photo file w/o Photoshop?

Hi there! I am temporarily on a macbook pro with no photoshop loaded (still on vacation where I bought it). I am an old PC user so not so familiar with mac OS in order to erase the EXIF data from a photo with only the basic macbook os (has iLife '08).

Any thougts or assistance!? Is it even possible?!

Sorry, I do not know how to do this though I am puzzled as to why anyone would want to erase the EXIF data.

As an example, entries for the Monthly Competition must be submitted without Exif data.

Angela, thanks. I did not think of that as I generally enter Club competitions where this does not arise.
