Konica Minolta lens.

Since I went digital with a Fuji 602z, and later a Panasonic FZ50 ,my Minolta film cameras have never been used, I have a lot of lenses for them, and was wondering it they are compatible with Konica Minolta digital DSLRs??? I realise the camera' are practically worthless, but what about the lenses, especially the macro one?? Can someone advise me?

Re: Konica Minolta lens.

I am still using my Minolta 70-300 and 28-80 macro on my Sony 350 and If I need a very wide aperture a use the 50mm f1.7 standard lens all of which I used on my Minolta 700si which I still have.

Re: Konica Minolta lens.

Are they manual or auto focus?

The auto focus or A mount lenses that fit the Minolta film cameras fit directly on all Sony A mount DSLRs including the full frame versions. Some of the manual focus lenses fit the new Sony DSLRs with an adapter but they still only manually focus and I believe there are some other limitations when using the old MD lenses.

They certainly are,and work very well indeed ,so keep them;if you don't want them sell them on ebay, the seem to be fetching good prices.
