Krazy web blues
Old question same problem. Blue changes when uploaded on some images. I convert to RGBs before saving for web. Do you think Using unsafe web blues might cause this? This picture is in the wildlife section. When looking at bigger view, it looks like the way I uploaded. This picture is the wrong blue..

Re: Krazy web blues
Hmm, not heard of a blue shift occurring - and your original 900px looks the same as the 800px version on my monitor. I'd suggest you resized to 800px yourself and then uploaded that.
It's a good image, too! I guess it was a shame that it's slightly from behind and two heads are obscured but I'd be pleased with this - that final bird makes up the deficit! ![]() |

Re: Krazy web blues
Note in the gallery the initial shot you see is a 800 pixel thumbnail of larger size shot, so the resizing done by the gallery s/w could have changed things slightly
![]() If the full size version is ok, this proves you have done the correct thing when saving ![]() |

Re: Krazy web blues
Thanks, will try it out, I understand what you are saying as that the program is resizeing and changing the colors, and if I send them in at 800 pixels it wil leave it alone..

Re: Krazy web blues
A lot of people use 800 as a max for this very reason. If you look at the properties of the pictures in the gallery there are probably more at this size than 1000.

Re: Krazy web blues
Just a thought. The image does not have an attached colour profile so I assume that it has been converted to sRGB. There are certainly differences between sRGB and Adobe RGB(1998) in the cyan area.
