lens adapters

was wandering if anyone can help?i have a canon 350d,and im thinking of buying some lens adapters ie,eos to fd mount and eos to m42,has anyone tried these adapters?the price of some of the old prime lenses out there are really cheap,does the image quality suffer in any way?any comments or advice would be appreciated,thanks

Re: lens adapters

I did some research on this when looking at older lens. I remember that the lens will work OK. My thoughts now would be the extention effect on the lens, or towards the macro effect that would result adding the space of the adapters. Just a thought.
