okay, i have a problem: this weekend i am taking photo's at a major annual skateboarding event. chances are, i won't be able to put up all my flashes where i need them because - 1) there will be a ton of other photographers on the park and 2) the area is vast, shooting in one place all the time will be tedious, boring and stupid.
The problem i have is that, the places themselves will not be lit well enough to take photo's at say 1/125 - 1/250. Taking photo's on my camera at 400-800 ISO is 'noise' suicide. This added to the fact that the s7000 only has an aperture range from f2.8-f8. i will most likely be using f2.8-f5 with a shutter speed of around 1/40-1/100
taking this into account, i am going to be left with some blurry photo's - unless i stick a flash onto the camera. if i do this, then i will have alot of ghosts doing tricks. (it's an okay effect, maybe once or twice, but not for every photo).
I want to be able to see the whole park, i can use the wide lens and get nice and close, but if i am using the on camera flash then the problem i have is dust. if anyone has shot inside a skatepark before, then they will know the dust from the wood refects back from the flash and onto the sensor. this problem can be resolved by using off camera lighting - back to square one.
I have been told TTL can solve this problem, without non-TTL can have the same effect, you just have to do the work yourself instead of the camera.
okay, i am confused now - this is the desired effect though...

to get this kind of effect with my camera, where you can see all the park, and also see the skater nice and sharp would require...................(please fill in the blanks)
