Re: Lightroom to PS5 problem

Sorry Shane- I don't have LR4 or PS5. However, I did notice there were a lot of issues with LR4 on the Adobe forums. I'm not sure that many members have LR4 yet so maybe the Adobe LR forums might be your best bet.

Re: Lightroom to PS5 problem

There are two ways you can export to Photoshop. One uses ACR in Photoshop to render the image in which case you need to upgrade your ACR to V 6.7. I am not sure if you can just click on Upgrade or need to go to Adobe labs for a special. The alternative which I have to use anyway as I have PS CS4 is to have LR4 render the image.

When you try to open (render the image) in photoshop by the menu "Edit In" or use the short cut Ctrl+E a small window should open which states "This version of Lightroom may require Camera Raw V7.0 for full compatibility" you are given three choices "Render using Lightroom", "Open Anyway" and "Cancel". You should choose "Render using Lightroom". Make sure that you do NOT tick the box Don't Show Again. You image will be rendered correctly if you either upgrade to v6.7 or use Render using Lightroom.

If you have already ticked the box "Don't show again" which I did initially, you can fix this by Edit>Preferences>General and clicking "Reser All Warning Dialogs".
