Re: man on bridge
I think to be able to offer advice on this we would need more details...
What bridge, when was it, who was the man (if known), what happened exactly, how did it end? Those kinds of stuff would effect the value of the news article and any pictures you have to go with it? Do you think the story is news worthy? If so then the pictures are probably worth something, but only if the story has not already been run. |

Re: man on bridge
its the main railway bridge into the city, there was over a dozen police cars, about 7 fire engine's, a couple of ambulance's, the coast guard was there, in case he fell into the river, there was railtrack workers there aswell (the bridge is the main line in and out of the city) so the whole railtrack was down.
i dont know how long he was there or why, but definately look like he was drunk or high, as he was very unsteady, bare foot with no top on and just a pair of jeans on, he even walked to the bottom of the arch, thats when we thought he was coming down, but it was only to get a cigarette from a man trying to talk him down, he smolked it and wobbled back up the arch |

Re: man on bridge
Read Garys Submission to Newspaper tutorial . If you have the only shots they could be worth some money.

Re: man on bridge
Maybe try contacting your local paper, I don't think that it would really be national news but if it did the national papers could then get the pics off the local paper and you would be credited and paid.

Re: man on bridge
Shouldn't be too hard to find on the web for the papers you feel the shots are fit for. Let us know how you get on

Re: man on bridge
Did you have any luck with the papers ?
Polite request, the physical size is fine but could you please reduce the files size on the last shot in the other thread as it is outside our already increased file limits at 494.89 KB (506764 bytes) Cheers. |
