Naughty boy.

Me and my D80 got asked to leave a Jools Holland open-air concert yesterday - thrown out for having a professional camera.

Actually - I was allowed back in once I'd left camera bag in car. What annoys me though is that the front of the standing area was full of people snapping away with high end compact cameras and in one case a very smart bridge Pentax.

I tried to explain to the bouncer that I was an amateur and that my camera was not a pro camera. He said he couldn't judge. Well he had hadn't he?

hmmmmm i would have taken it back in with me! mind u , i dont like jools holland anyway! lol

I had the same issue at Lords watching cricket..... others around me were even using Bridge Camera's.... but as mine 'looked' professional! I had to desist!! And I've only got a Nikon D50!!!

I've had the same problem with my Panasonic bridge of all things...

Id of asked for the others to be removed as well then a stiff letter afterwards I always seek prior permission first if im in any doubt.
