Nikon Capture NX

Can anyone give me some basics on what you do with the raw photo's in the raw software. What i'm looking for as well, is to take the overexposure away. I have been fiddling myself for a while. Couldn't figure out what exactly to use unless you loose your colours.

usually u place a upoint on a hot bit then just bring the brightness slider down. assuming it's a recent version you have.
