Old 35mm Mamiya camera

Was given an old camera bag by a friend, and in it is a rather lovely Mamiya NC1000s in silver. It has a 50mm lens, seems to work, and is in decent condition for what has been a well-used camera.

Anyone know much about these? Have never heard of the manufacturer. I'm not sure of its quality.

Thanks

I have certainly heard of this make in the past but I do not remember anything about their quality. You could always run a roll of film through it ans see what you get. A quick Google search for Mamiya NC1000s turned up 3800 hits. This link

Mamiya NC1000 35mm cameras

seems to have some interesting info.

I absolutely adored Mamiya 35mm film SLR cameras. Their quality was top notch and if that was in my possession I'd be sticking a film in and using it. Lovely stuff
