One stop Digital
Ive noticed a few people on here think highly of one stop digital, well i was looking at a
Tokina 12-24, but i have been told elsewhere to be careful this is a bit of what was said Yep, UK one year warranty the Tokina International Warranty is two years. Like I said, most of these (ie OneStop) don't even have *any* warranty card at all, so you end up buying a Mack warranty (not worth the paper its written on) or nothing. any comment,s on this please thank you...Ray

Re: One stop Digital
Well if it were me I would at least take the trouble to look at the site of the company I was thinking of buying stuff from before doing anything else. I can assure you that OneStop does provide warranties for the equipment they sell, if you still doubt this check out the thread by Rob Barron about his Canon 40D he bought from them and turned out to be faulty
![]() You'll have to do a search for it though as I don't have the link, sorry. |

One Stop Digital FAQs
10. How long is the warranty you are offering? Unless otherwise stated, we offer 12 months "Return to Hong Kong" warranty for all of our cameras and 6 months warranty for camera lenses and flashguns. Please note that some products on our site do come with manufacturer's international warranty. If this is the case, it would be stated in the product description. Please see our terms & conditions for full details. |

Re: One stop Digital
Ray, I have brought a couple lens off One Stop Digital and I have been very happy with the purchase. Personally if I was buying something that came with a 12 month warranty, I would buy from there, however, with my Sigma EX lens, I prefer to buy from the UK. I did contact Sigma UK who told me that they would only honour the guarantee if I produced a VAT receipt or something that said that I had paid the duty on it. I think you probably wouldn't have a problem returning it to Hong Kong and getting it repaired there, as long as you didn't mind the cost of sending it back. I looked at it like this, my Sigma 70-300mm APO cost me £115.00 delivered. If it never goes faulty then I have saved about £50, if it does then I either send it to Sigma UK and pay for the repair (hopefully no more than £50), pay the duty and send it back to sigma UK or send it back to Hong Kong and let them get it repaired under the original guarantee. The choice is yours but most things are very reliable these days so if whatever you buy goes faulty, then you are probably just one of the unfortunate ones.
PS, you could say you brought it while you were on holiday there, that could work. Hope that helps.

Re: One stop Digital
I got my 10-22mm from one stop digital, at £373, compared to £489 here.
I ordered it on the Sunday night and it arrived on the Wednesday morning.......... and just to compare deliveries with a uk firm, I ordered the lens hood to go with the lens from Calumet............... 9 DAYS and an email to them later i eventually got the hood! If i had to send it back it would cost me about £25 which is STILL a huge saving compared to the UK price! Fi |

Re: One stop Digital
I only buy my lenses from one stop digital. Otherwise it would be to costly for me. The lens i've bought now, would have been at least £150 more.
There service is very good. Can't complain at all about onestop. Oh and if you do want to buy cheap but more warranty. Then buy from eBay UK Shop - Kea Photo: Canon gear, Nikon gear, Filters on ebay. They sell lenses for a bit more, but sometimes it includes an extra few years international garantuee. |
