panasonic DMC G2 RAW file opener

Ok I got this camera but my wife lost the Cd and I have been searching for a file or program to open them

The camera is Panasonic DMC G2

I finally found this plug in that wall allow you to open the file with the programs you have on your computer

https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/cn/...V1L100-Eng.exe

I hope this helps some one else it is hard as each camera maker has a slightly different RAW image file

ADMIN EDIT: Whilst we appreciate that Cram_it_frog is trying to be helpful in posting this, we would caution that Pixalo does not recommend downloading any files that do not come from a recognised source. While the link does contain the words panasonic, when clicked on it will not go to a web site but will invite you to save or run. If you choose to do this, it is at your own risk. We emphasise that we recognise that this is intended to be helpful to others, but Pixalo cannot be held responsible should anyone suffer any issues resulting from running this programme.

The Faststone Image Viewer is also a good programme for simple editing and has an excellent slideshow facility. It is free too.

Re: panasonic DMC G2 RAW file opener

Panasonic choose to also not supply a download for lost CDs which is a little annoying because CDs get lost or damaged over time

As I said I totally understand what you are saying and yes I have downloaded the program you suggested i have done some programing at TAFE and web design and loved it but it does take a talent to write good useable programs sadly that talent is occasionally misused to provided with annoying little programs that take over your computer

I for one would like such soft ware banned
