I have a pentax 6.2 mp camera and i took a picture but my lights didnt go off... but i noticed this pattern on the right size of my photo, and i've seen it in other photos... does any one know what it is?

Looks like banding to me, I would imagine new investment req!

how does that happen? the camera isnt too old... it was used but, gentally used...

I'm guessing you pushed the EV and brightness way up in your RAW conversion... this is pretty normal when you go to extreme +EV. At least I assume it is as my D50 produced a similar effect. Was perfectly ok when I didn't push the +EV too far.

Possible the memory card has become corrupt, I had a similar thing with my old camera canon 300D, I thought the camera had taken ill. Turned out the memory card had went doolally, Can you not get your hands on a spare memory card just to eliminate that as the cause, it might save on a expensive repair.

Just a guess but I assume that your camera has an auto setting. Use this and take a picture in good light and see what happens. If it still does not work do as Chilliman suggested and try a different memory card

HAHA! i think ur right! i tried another card, and i dont see it! hopefully, that took care of it!!!
