Re: photo frameing

As said before I don't use CS5 any more...but....your image is on a canvas. Go into Edit and increase the canvas size by 5 or 10 say and change canvas colour to white. You'll then have a white border. Repeat using diferent colours - HTH.

Re: photo frameing

I wrote a couple of tutorial that are in the 'Tutorials and Guides' forum

http://www.pixalo.com/community/tuto...-ps-14382.html

http://www.pixalo.com/community/tuto...2-a-14645.html

The second one is simpler than the other one as it only uses one tool/command.

You can change the colour at each stage by using the colour picker.

Re: photo frameing

As Graham said, use the colour picker to set the different colour for each canvas.

No - the colour picker is a tool the you will find on the left of the screen. It looks like an eye dropper. It might be hiding behind one of the other tools so if you can't see it open the tools up to see what is there.

Pick it up and click in the area you want to change the colour of and you can pick whatever colour you want.

You might also get to the colour picker by clicking in the actual colour patch in the canvas size dialogue box.

Re: photo frameing

Hi Graham
Now that is sorted, is there any way that we can crop a picture to an oval shape also put several borders around it , as I've never seen that done and would like to do it if it is possible.

I don't think that oval borders are possible. I've never tried it. There might be some third party software that would do it, but I don't know of any.

You can do oval vignettes in Photoshop though.
