Photo printing - Panoramic printing
Can anyone give me advice regarding a good company for printing a panorama measuring 1m x 20cm? There are plenty of places advertised on the web but I am not sure which are any good. Tim.

Re: Photo printing
If based in the UK have a look at Poster prices from Pixalo here
The sizes mention the maximum height, with 30" inches being longest length. So although I have never tried it, it should mean you can create an 8" x 30" panoramic for £1.27 + P&P . You get to Posters under "Gifts" heading. Have a go online & see if it accepts your pano accordingly & let me know |

Re: Photo printing
If Pixalo can print it then go for them. I have used posterXXL - Poster printing, big and affordable. Order easily and conveniently online!. They will cut the paper to the pic while everyone else seems to crop the pic to the photo. Put me right crew if you can do the same. I would rather give you the trade.
roger PS. the "big affordable" bit seems to have been put in by the URL. |

Saying all this, you need some space around the print if your going to mount it anyway |

Re: Photo printing
Thanks for the advice - sounds like Pixalo it is then - to be honest I did see some advertising recently but then completely forgot about it. I will feed back how it works out.

Re: Photo printing
The panorama worked out well - great quality print at a good price. I just selected the poster size to accomodate the width of my picture and the print was centered in the poster. I just need to cut to size for mounting and framing. Excellent advice and result!!
