A photograph/stationary type question

Not strictly a quesition about photography, more of a photographic-related-stationary type question

Does anyone know where to get the paper/card wallets that printed photographs are delivered in? Blank ones... A sort of small version of an A4/foolscap document wallet? I have tried various web searches but obviously not choosing the right words for my search

Thanking you in advance oh wise ones

Re: A photograph/stationary type question

Ummm... no, the thing I am thinking of is more a small version of a document wallet folder thingumy - a bit like this (although this is waaaay to big!):
Document Wallets

The sort of thing that your photographs used to arrive in from the developers... and I think Photobox etc still send pictures in them (as well as being inside a rigid envelope). The Truprint stylee folder fold-over paper wallet/envelope. If I am not making any sense I could take a pic?

Re: A photograph/stationary type question

I think that the sort of paper/card wallets you want should be found at stationary outlets on line or in shops like Staples or Rymans.

Re: A photograph/stationary type question

Thanks Dabs - have tried Staples, WHSmith, Sussex Stationers... but they only do A4/Foolscap sizes, I'm after smaller sizes (A5 or smaller)

Cheers Hoffy, will have a look through those links.

Re: A photograph/stationary type question

Thank you for those links - it is definitely looking as if I'll have to head down the the 'alternative' route and that type of thing would fit the bill.

The other option is maybe cutting a square-cut folder (unflapped) in half.

I can't believe such a thing doesn't exist (or at least if it does it's proving hard to find!). I'm sure my last lot of printed images came in an A5 flapped document wallet (as well as being inside a rigid posting envelope). I wonder where the printing companies get them from!

Re: A photograph/stationary type question

I think you need to find out what the search keywords are. I searched on 'wallet' with some other descriptors, but maybe 'folder' or some other word will take you to what you want.
