My question is i was using the clone tool, i had to stop what i was doing so i saved the image for later, now i have come back to it, the clone tool wont show its driving me crazy why wont it show again thank's...Ray

what did you save it as ray?

no layers added itself by mistake?

how do you mean wont show? doesnt work or not showing in the palette?

the tool was a small circle about the size of a penny now it is just a dot i tried adjusting the size but it wont

thats weird, try resaving and renaming a new copy, might be a glitch?

Right i just opened a new photo and the tool is ok its there, so i closed it down and opened the saved image and its not there again Grr

does it still go funny if you make a copy of the original ? if not just use that if it does it means theres some setting somewhere on the image

Its frustrating I had a similar problem with a black and white image today.

Ive found the reason now stupid me i was saving as a jpg instead ofa PSD file thank you for your help summer im grateful...Ray
