Picture size

I work with flickr. It's easy to find out pic. size but how do I find the Kb. size. I don't see it listed anywhere. I've posted pics. that have been only 640 longest side and been told by the computer that the file size is to big. I hate when that happens. Thanks for any help. I hope I posted this in the right spot.

Re: Picture size

Try right-clicking and selecting 'properties'.

This should give you the pixel dimensions and the file size.

Re: Picture size

Thankyou; I see it listed as just bytes instead of Kbs. I guess I'll have to do the math as to not go over the 300Kbs limit. Thanks again.

Re: Picture size

I see kb

I wonder if this is a regional thing or if you can change a setting in your computer?

I guess all you need to know is how many bytes are in 300kb though and so long as you are under you will be OK. You will only need to do the maths once.

Might be worth using 290kb for safety though - I bet there will be a little variation along the way. We have had others in the past getting close to the limit and the gallery software rejecting the pictures.
