Picture uploading

Can anybody help!! Im tying to upload 2 pictures onto the site so they will be side by side when viewed, I've been dabbling with stereo photography and thought I would share my results. If I'm not able to do this on the site, is it possible to join them together in CS3?

Re: Picture uploading

You can't do it in the gallery, but you can arrange two (or more) pics side-by-side in an image editor (PS or whatever).

You'll need to open one of them and then enlarge the canvas so that it's the size needed for both. Then open the other, copy and paste it into the blank space you've created in the first one.

I could give you more precise instructions using PSP but that wouldn't help.

Now all that you have to do is go crosseyed until you get a 3D picture in the middle (For those that don't know)

Re: Picture uploading

Thanks guys I couldn'd find a related heading to place the picture under IE Macro, Landscape etc, maybe it would be possible to create a new Topic there seems to no limit to the effects that can be acheived, and this is just a basic image to show what can be done.

Re: Picture uploading

I'm not sure if the seperation should be of order half the distance between your eyes. Anyway, i think if they were smaller they would be easyer to see.

Re: Picture uploading

If you move a little further away from your screen you generally find it easier You dont have to go so crosseyed, if you get close you will find yourself straining....Thus

Re: Picture uploading

My method is to go cross eyed until you see 3 shots (the same size), then try to hold it until you can focus on the middle one.
