Pixalo Help Question
Wasn't quite where to pose this question...
Pixalo forum help needed please! Is there an easy way within the forum to mark/book mark threads? There are a number of tutorials and help threads that I keep referring to when practising, or trying out new processing skills and am finding that I keep using the search option to find them again. I've seen various icons and symbols in posts but have not yet worked out what they all do and how they all work. I expect there is an Idiots Guide somewhere, but I've not found it yet! ![]() Thank you ![]() |

Re: Pixalo Help Question
Ali, in the menu bar above yours + my posts here, you'll see the menu "Thread Tools", 2nd menu item from the left. Click on that, then on "Subscribe to This Thread". You can then find all your subscribed threads in the Control Panel. You'll find that in "User CP" at the very top left of the forum pages.
If you still get stuck, shout again ![]() Beware of subscribing to loads of threads ... I think I've accumulated 700 odd ![]() |

Re: Pixalo Help Question
Also check in your user control panel. I can't remember what the default setting is, but in 'edit options', the third or forth option down enables you to set the default for thread subscriptions. Set it to 'do not subscribe', scroll to the bottom of the page and save changes.
Now you have control over what threads you are subscribed to, if you don't do this, every post you make will become a subscribed thread. If you want to delete any subscriptions, just check the box on the RHS and at the bottom of the page select delete in the drop-down box.

Re: Pixalo Help Question
Something wrong with the Bookmarks* system in your browser? This is what it's designed for after all.
* "Favourites" to IE users. |
