Hi all,

How does everyone display their work if they are showing people a hard copy of their images??

i have got a couple of large photo albums which I am using at the moment, but dont like the plastic covers in them and was wondering what everybody else does??

Is there a way of mounting them in some form of portfolio??

Thanks in advance gang!!!!

Matt

Re: Portfolio

I use artists portfolios, big black zip up folder things, you can but inserts to go into them which you display ytour pics in. any decent art supplier should stock them.

Re: Portfolio

The more modern approach is to use digital print albums - the sort of 'coffee table' books that many print bureaux offer.

Another alternative is using modern finish slip-in albums that are designed to take A4 and A3 sized inkjet prints... though they don't offer edge-to-edge finishes.

Take a look at Photovalue.com and Colourmailer to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Oh, and here's a tip: if you shoot diverse subjects, ensure you have an individual portfolio that showcases each subject in detail e.g one for landscapes, one for press/Page Ranking work, one for commercial etc. - this will serve you better than trying to show a jack-of-all-trades portfolio
