Posting Pictues
I have a rubbish picture which I need for a post. Is there any way I can include it in a post without first putting it in my gallery?
Thanks. |

Re: Posting Pictues
You can create a private album and upload into that and the picture will not appear in your gallery.

Re: Posting Pictues
Thank you Graham.
By the way I notice that your are interested in video. I have been interested since Jan 2012. I am currently using Final Cut Pro. Do you know whether Adobe Extended is any better? |

Re: Posting Pictues
I was very heavily into video a while ago, but not any more. I went on holiday and decided to only take a video camera. I returned with 3000 10 second clips and during the editing I lost the will to live.
I have not touched my kit since so have not a clue about editing software. |

Re: Posting Pictues
Well, sence you have the app., I'd use it. I have final cut too and it's a wonderful clip editor. But I think clip editing is a lot of work. The fun parts are effects and music. I have logic express, and Ps5 extended which i understand is going more video with CS6. I haven't upgraded final cut from power pc OS because it became to expensive for me, I strongly recommend that you use it if you have it an all the extras it brings. I had to upgrade to the new Intel chips and it wrecked havoc with my software. I love doing the music and effects in video and have off and on collected clips for 12 years with mini dv and digital and have all the work I haven't finished on another hard drive after my big boy Mac crashed and melted. After I do the CS6 upgrade I'll report back but that's still off in the distance. I haven't done any real good videos which were mainly for a big ole family reunion and were received quite well and miss playing into the hand of emotion with still clips added. Geez I'll stop talking now and just wish you luck. I don't know if they still includ it but motion was my favorite extra app that came final cut. I think you would be happy with adobe extended or premier express. I'm going with extended if your talking PS.

Re: Posting Pictues
Thank you Boofers for those interesting comments. The reason I was wondering about PS Extended is to do with effects. I thought PS might just be that much better for manipulating effects.

Re: Posting Pictues
Sorry about blabbing on, I was sitting hear thinking about how I used video. When during the year I would visit the kids out of state. " as you say go on holiday", and the next year I would have a DVD made up of the trip to share with kids as they are older and would really get a kick out of the changes to everyone. I must have about 9 of those complete and handed out. Another 5 of other visits for other gatherings. Then I was messing around with vector graphics and found back in PS the ability to make animations and have a hand full of those. then I have the epic of a two week trip I started and never finished but I have all the material. The reason I am telling you all this is to say no matter if it was work or enjoyment it was always worth it on the family side. I have a goal now when I get CS6 exstended, with all the still camera's with video it has to be good. The kids have always remembered the movies some with stupid noises when they moved around and the smartest one of all has already talked me out of a camera. I for one have always seen it as a little work and a little fun and a big reward from the family. I have 12 grand kids
