Printing to canvas

Well, now made the decision to buy an A3+ printer!

I am deciding between the Epson R2400 and the Canon Pixma Pro 9500.

Having never printed to canvas before, I wondered if anyone here has any experience of doing this? (and if anyone has used canon or epson to do it?)

I would like to possibly exhibit or sell some of my pics and it seems that canvas maybe the best medium for this?

Am I thinking right about this, or is there another medium to use that would have that canvas type effect or greater saleability?

The major difference between the 2 printers is that the Epson can take roll feed and the canon cannot.

Has anyone used canvas by the sheet on a printer? ...I can find loads about canvas on rolls, but not on sheet.

I have been searching the net for answers, without success, and thought.... what about the excellent pixalo community! So all advice, help and direction is really appreciated.

Of course if I am asking utter rubbish, then please tell me too!

Thanks

Steve
