Re: Profiles in Lightroom

In view of the fact that I use bespoke profiles and could not answer your question, I decided to investigate further. For Vista the profiles are stored:-

C:\ Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Cam eraProfiles

N.B. There is no space between cam eraProfiles but I have retyped several times but the space is always added??

You should find your profiles here and can manually delete. There is a warning that you should make absolutely sure that you are not using a profile which you wish to delete.

I created a bespoke dual illuminant profile for my EOS 5D2 using the Color Checker Passport and Adobe Labs DNG profile Editor. As this calibrates my camera, I have no need to vary it and in Lightroom I have set this as the default profile for this specific camera. This means that this profile is always applied to any Raw files I import from this camera. I similarly have a special profile to modify WB for my IR converted camera which is the default for that camera. So I have had no need to delete a profile as yet.

Re: Profiles in Lightroom

I also tried looking at obvious places but no luck. The Adobe supplied profiles are stored with programme data so a completely different folder. I could not find my profiles from a search either (perhaps because they are hidden files).

I found the location of these user generated profiles from the manual supplied with the Color Checker Passport.
