Resizing a photo

When I try to upload my pictures, it says that it exceeds file size limit. Is there any way you can fix this?? I have snapfish if you needed to know...thanks!

Can you tell us what the actual size and/or format is? TIFs are pretty hefty. JPGs are your best bet and you might need to resize them, physically, like instead of 3008 by something to 800 by 640 thereabouts?? Does that make any sense?

To actually upload an image into Pixalo, it needs to be a jpeg and under 200kb. The longest side must not exceed 1000 pixels. These criteria can be met by using most editing software. You can link to a picture hosted outside Pixalo provided the criteria are observed.

There is a tutorial on re-sizing in the tutorials and guides forum. I can't post a link as I'm on a work computer and can only open one page at a time, so can't get the URL.

I have tried doing the tutorial thing..but I dont have photoshop. I have tried it on snapfish and stuff but it didnt work...thanks!

I did a search for Snapfish to see if I could help further but all I could find is that Snapfish is an online printing service... if this is what your using then you'll need to get some photo editing software to alter/resize your images.
