SB800 overkill?

I just bought a sb-800 flash. I'm thinking it may be more than what I need. Does anyone have a sb-600?

Re: SB-800

Hi there.. I have a SB600. I am not a professional. I do shoots for a small town school and website and I adore my SB600. I have noticed since I started using the SB600 my long distance shots of football teams are more clear and not blurred half as much. Dont know much about anything but I can't imagine why yours wouldn't be even better.

Re: SB800 overkill?

I have an SB800, and am nowhere near a pro, but figured that if I bought the SB800 now rather than the 600, there wouldn't be any limitation I could find with my kit in the long term, and I wouldn't have to spend money upgrading if I did decide I wanted to...

Re: SB800 overkill?

I've got the 600 and the 800 and they are both excellent flashguns, the 800 is a bit more powerful and has more versatility in CL.

If you want to swap your 800 for my 600....
