sigma 120-400mm lens

I have a sigma 120-400mm lens, after taking about 4 pictures my battery is drained its new (ze-enel3e). My camera is a Nikon D-80. thanks

sounds bad! are they new batteries or old ones?

I dont have a D80 or a 120-400 Sigama, but if you are using the camera on full auto which means that all you have to do is take the picture and not worry about the settings you will find that the lens is searching and focusing all the time, and the battery will quickly run out of power!

but 4 photos sounds like dodgy batteries or dodgy circuit!

If it was a brand new battery, was it charged for the first time for long enough?

Was the battery drained or was the camera indicating that the battery was drained. This camera can have an issue with this problem, there is an upgrade to solve this!
