Two is better than one!

I have just found the wonderful world of dual screens, I have the laptop 15" and the old desktop screen 17", I have now got a program called UltraMOn which allows you to extend the taskbar etc...but the desktop background seems a little confused,

I expect a few of you use a similar set up, what do you do for a desktop background?! I have tried a bit of cropping on photoshop. but I can only set one picture per monitor(to my knowledge anyway)

Can anyone shead any light on the subject?

Don't you mean 'Can anyone give me some background information?'

Re: Two is better than one!

I use dual monitor but use them independently (not cloned or stretched) and my desktop background is just plain grey .

Re: Two is better than one!

When I used a dual monitor setup I used different pictures and set them as background independantly. Both screens ran at the same resolution though so that may be the issue that is causing problems?

I assume that rather than using 'stretch to fit' you have sized each background to match that screens resolution?
