Hello, I am completely new to this forum and have introduces myself to it via troubleshooting efforts. I have a new copy of the Corel Graphics Draw Suite x3. It included a free install of Pixmantec Rawshooter Essentials 2005. Everytime I run this programme it demands that I register but is unable to do so at every turn. I suspect a dead link so how can I get around this? Has anybody had a similar problem?

Pixmantec was bought out by Adobe some time ago and their software is now officially discontinued - I don't use RSE so an not familiar with the registration process, but it looks like you may have to contact Adobe to resolve your problem... unless other Pixalo's have any better ideas??

Hi Ade - welcome to Pixalo. Since Adobe bought out the company that made RawShooter, there is no technical support or updates available for the products, although they are still available for downloading from the adobe web site, or, indeed, often get bundled with Corel software.

As registering a product is usually done to enable technical support and updates, I suspect that the registration of Rawshooter has been withdrawn as there is no support available.

Okay thanks for that, I had a feeling that may have been it. It sure is a nuisance having a nag screen everytime I launch it but I'm a married man, I'm kind of used to stuff like that now.

I think you will find that the free download of RawShooter is now Rawshooter 2006.

You might find the same problem again with this link, but the only thing I can think of is to re download
