Still doesn't make it bad. I mean, it's better to have (tbh fairly high) 'low' res backwards compatibility than none at all, isn't it?

I've always favoured 24mm as a FF wide angle. My old Tamron 24-70 (or was it 24-80?) lived on my OM2 all of the time.

Nikon are apparently rectifying this in a new version, which is probably why there's not much stock available right now, dealers are waiting for the new version to come out
