Certainly not those lengths, given that the resulting pic would be not one jot better than if he'd stayed on the main clifftop

My "extremes" tend to be risking my camera and not myself (well, I'm not entirely stupid!)

This involved hanging camera under tripod which was stretched across the stream

As I've just seen in the photo and read in the papers, there is a ledge (just out of shot in the ones of the guy) 10 feet under him! So the whole thing really is a con and no risk at all!

seen that article before, have to say tho that i would risk myself before my camera., last risky thing i did was hang from a tree branch to get a shot of a burn about 30ft down a cliff............. bummer was the shot was crap! lol

I tried taking a picture of the wife getting out of the bath once.

The surgeons tell me the camera shaped indentation in my forehead will subside with time!

Don't think even a great photo is worth risking my life for....and wouldn't endanger my camera either - yes I'm a VERY risk averse person!

errrrrmmm, without risks there isn't much point in taking a photo. It's as bad as depending on photoshop!!! take a risk get a better photo, come away with a story...
