Wireless router issues

Got me a nice wireless router, works fine for about 10 mins, then it starts to randomly drop connection, laptop wont connect, etc...the unit feels very HOT after a short time, anyone else have a hot router, or is mine RMA material

What make is the router?

The only time my wireless router has ever given dropped connections was months ago, I sorted it with a firmware update.

Mine does get warm to the touch, but not what you'd call hot.

its that well known brand OVISLINK

its got the latest firmware installed, as i say, it works fine to start with, then starts to mess about once up to egg frying temperature

I have the Belkin, it gets warm, but thats about it.

After installing the latest firmware, mine disconnects if it becomes idle.
