Apparently it'll rotate to any direction although the only pictures I've seen have it sticking out with the screen facing up.

hmmm paparazzi style camera in the air shots could be made a little less random with that too....though i would hate to see people holding an SLR like a compact at arms length framing shots up!

I spy'd this the other day, was half looking out for an anglefinder for my oly, saddly I dont think there is a fitting for me at the moment to use this handy bit of kit though
