Exif
Well I had two suggestions but only just noticed the little yellow landscape mountain icon is....well yellow, must be due to the forum upgrade
Oh I missed the colour while trying to post pics and finding the insert photo icon! And. This may well have been discussed before but I searched (quickly) and couldn't find it.....Is it not possible to retain the exif in gallery photos especially when these are to be used in threads in the sharing or critique sections? I haven't long learned how to reduce in size while saving the exif for web images only to find it gets stripped ![]() I know you all know how useful this info is....especially when the o/p doesn't supply it. |

Re: Exif
Not sure I follow but the gallery doesn't strip out exif but it does appear to hide it...
look for the wee links like: - Add to Favorites · Post a Comment · Report Photo · Receive Email Updates Print View · Show EXIF Info |

Re: Exif
Thanks mate...for some reason it wasn't working before but is now. Could also have been the photo I was looking at didn't have exif. Just having one of those Monday morning moments.

Re: Exif
Also bear in mind Ken, that a lot of members save without the exif so it won't be there anyway.

Re: Exif
Thats true Stephano, I always use my Micrografx Picture Publisher to collate all of my digital files and for printing. The PP printer interface is so much easier for me to use than the Adobe PS. The only snag is that once you crop or do anything to the picture using Micrografx it erases the exif information.
